Declaration under Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968
It is an offence for a person who is prohibited under Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968 to have a firearm or ammunition in his/her possession at any time.
This Section applies to any person who has been sentenced to imprisonment or to youth custody or detention in any young offenders institution for three months or more. It also applies to a person who has been sentenced to imprisonment of three months or more where the sentence is suspended.
A person sentenced to a period of imprisonment of 3 months or more but less than 3 years is prohibited for 5 years from the date of release.
A person sentenced to 3 years imprisonment or more is prohibited for life.
A person sentenced to 3 months imprisonment or more where the sentence is suspended is prohibited for a period of five years beginning with the second day after which the sentence is passed.
It is an offence for a person to transfer, let, hire, or lend a firearm or ammunition to someone whom he knows or has reasonable grounds for believing to be a prohibited person.
All customers and visitors to the range must declare that they have not had or displayed any symptoms of COVID 19 in the last 14 days.
Face coverings are compulsory for all customers unless they have proof of a medical exemption.
All customers must have temperature checks upon arrival at the range.
All customers must agree that whilst participating in sessions that they will fully comply with the centres policies and procedures to minimise the risk of contracting or spreading COVID 19 amongst other attendees.
All customers must notify Double Deuce immediately should they start to feel unwell or be tested positive for COVID 19 within 14 days of completing their session.
You must not be subject to any local COVID 19 restrictions and have not traveled from any area with COVID 19 restrictions in place.
All customers must agree that if they are with a group from different households they will keep 1 meter distance from anyone else in my group whilst in the building.
