What do I need to bring?
You will need photo identification, photocopies are not acceptable
What calibre is used on the range?
All of our firearms are .22 rimfire.
How many shooting lanes are there?
We have 7 lanes at 22 metres long. We have a further 7 private member lanes at 22 metres long.
In 2019 there will be a further 3 lanes at 33mtr built.
How old do you have to be to shoot?
The minimum age to shoot is 10 years of age. However it is at the discretion of the range officers. Height and maturity are also contributing factors.
All under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult, accompanying adults only pay if they are participating themselves. Otherwise they just accompany the under 18 onto the range.
Can my friends and/or family watch me shoot?
Yes! They are permitted into the range area providing they have photo ID with them (max. 2 spectators per shooter). Spectators must wear the ear and eye protection provided. Spectators can also observe from the lounge area.
Can I take pictures?
Yes, we welcome photos and videos! Feel free to post to our social media pages!
Can I share a package with someone else?
No. Every package allows only one shooter.
What kind of guns can I shoot?
We offer a variety of semi automatic .22 rimfire rifles at our shooting range. We do not have hand guns or pistols.

What are the most popular guns to shoot?
Our most popular guns are the Beretta ARX160 and Heckler and Koch G36.
What safety equipment is required?
Anyone within the range area is required to wear ear and eye protection. Both are available on site but your are welcome to bring your own.
Can I bring my own gun?
Only firearms and ammunition supplied by Double Deuce can be used on the public range.
Firearm Certificate holders who want to shoot at our Firing Range have to apply for membership, which when granted gives them access to to 7 private lanes. For details on club membership please visit our membership page.
Do you sell guns and ammo?
At this time no we don’t sell guns.
Extra rounds which can be used in any booked session are available for additional cost.
Is experience necessary?
Not at all, our range officers are always on hand whether you’re a novice or life long shooter, we can cater for all.
Is it loud?
Yes, which is why we provide hearing protection that must be worn at all times.
Can I drink alcohol?
No, alcohol is strictly prohibited. Any individual suspected of being under the influence will not be allowed into the range area.
What should I wear?
There isn’t a particular dress code, however we don’t recommend hoodies, loose fitting tops or open toe shoes in case you catch hot casings.
May I lie on the ground and shoot?
Do you take individual bookings as well as groups?
Yes we take individual bookings as well as groups.

Declaration under Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968
It is an offence for a person who is prohibited by Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968 to have a firearm or ammunition in his/her possession at any time.
This Section applies to any person who has been sentenced to imprisonment, a suspended term of imprisonment or to youth custody or detention in any young offenders institution for three months or more.
A person sentenced to a suspended or term of imprisonment period between 3 months and 3 years is prohibited for 5 years from the date of release.
A person sentenced to a suspended or term of imprisonment of 3 years or more is prohibited for life.
It is an offence for a person to transfer, let, hire, or lend a firearm or ammunition to someone whom he / she knows or has reasonable grounds for believing to be a prohibited person.
