You will need to bring original photo ID with you to your session. We DO NOT accept photocopies or photos on phones. We accept passports, driving licences including provisional and BRP cards. We also accept firearm/ shotgun certificates and military ID.

All under 18’s do not need to bring photo ID, but the accompanying adult does need to bring theirs.

We do not give refunds or reschedule bookings if you do not bring photo ID

All of the firearms that we use on the public range are .22LR and .22 WMR.

They are all live fire rifles, we don’t use air rifles or BB’s.

We have larger calibres available for members to use on the club range including nut not limited to 9mm, .357/38, .44 and .308 – for more information on membership, please email info@double-deuce.co.uk

We have 11 lanes on the public range at 22 metres long with e further 3 lanes in a private area on the first floor. We have a further 7 private member lanes at 22 metres long one the first floor.

The minimum age to shoot is 10 years of age. It is also at the discretion of the range officers as maturity is also contributing factors to anyone over the age of 10.

All under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult, accompanying adults only pay if they are participating themselves. Otherwise they just accompany the under 18 onto the range. Under 18’s do not need to bring original photo ID, only the adult accompanying them.

Yes! They are permitted into the range area providing they have photo ID with them (max. 1 spectator per shooter). Spectators must wear the ear and eye protection provided. Spectators can also observe from the lounge area.

Yes, we welcome photos and videos! Feel free to post to our social media pages, make sure you tag us!

No. Every package/ session allows for only one participant per lane

We offer a variety of semi automatic .22lr and .22 WMR rimfire rifles on our public range and there are additional gun upgrades available on the day of your session. We do not have hand guns or pistols.

Anyone within the range area is required to wear ear and eye protection. Both are available on site but your are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Only firearms and ammunition supplied by Double Deuce can be used on the public range.

Firearm Certificate holders who want to shoot on our Club Range can attend as guest users if they are not already members. Guest users must be members of another Home Office Approved club and bring details. For information regarding memberships, please email us at info@double-deuce.co.uk

Yes, we have Double Deuce Gun Shop located at the rear of the range.

Its open Tuesday to Saturday

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your session start time to allow for signing in and the safety briefing.

We cannot guarantee that you will be able to go onto the range if you are late. We have sessions running one after another and this means we can’t always move sessions around. We do not give refunds for sessions missed due to lateness.

Not at all, our range officers are always on hand whether you’re a novice or life long shooter, we can cater for all abilities and experiences.

Food and drink, including chewing gum,  is not permitted in the range area.

Yes, we have hight adjustable shooting stalls to accommodate for wheelchair users or people who need to shoot from a seated position. We also have ramp access and disabled WC’s

Yes, which is why we provide hearing protection that must be worn at all times.

No, alcohol is strictly prohibited. Any individual suspected of being under the influence will not be allowed into the range area.

There isn’t a particular dress code, however we don’t recommend hoodies, loose fitting tops or open toe shoes in case you catch hot casings.

No. We do nt have the facilities for prone shooting

No, we do not allow pregnant women onto the range. There is a viewing window in reception if you wish to observe.

Yes we take individual bookings as well as groups.
